BRAM Technologies announces the Avid DNxHD codec support for Azimuth video servers. Azimuth video servers are the core of the SerialCam HD multi-channel system that is developed for synchronous recording of HD video, audio and timecode in multi camera filming of movies, TV shows, concerts, sports and other events.
About 200 TV companies from all over the world participated in broadcasting of the XXII Winter Olympic Games 2014 in Sochi that had been watched by the television audience of several billion people. In Russia, the right to broadcast the competitions had three TV companies: Channel One Russia, VGTRK and NTV-PLUS. In Sochi, they built mini-TV-centers equipped with high-technology equipment and software.

This enhancement allows user to encode content within the BRAM Technologies systems into files for editing in Final Cut Pro and improves video and audio materials interoperability for ingest, storage and playback.
On January 29, 2014 the 5th national multichannel digital TV Award Bolshaya Tsifra-2014 was held in Moscow. The Award unites key market players and support the implementation of the federal program “Development of broadcasting in 2009-2015”.
