A new Input/Output system for Azimuth

BRAM Technologies it proud to present a new version of Azimuth videoserver software.

BRAM Technologies it proud to present a new version of Azimuth videoserver software that brings support for new SDI and SMPTE 2110 I/O boards and streaming protocols.

We’re glad to announce that in addition to Matrox DSX and BlackMagic DeckLink product lines we now support Softlab-NSK SDI boards. Softlab-NSK SDI boards are quite popular in our strategic markets and are less affected by component shortages and long lead times than larger OEMs.

At recent trade shows and customer workshops we were able to demonstrate an Azimuth videoserver running without I/O boards, with all inputs and outputs using the NDI v5 protocol. The new workflows are supported by all our currently shipping software solutions, including the flagship AutoPlay playout automation, the StudioX multichannel ingest, the NewsAir news playout working together with TitleStation Mix graphics and many more. The boardless operation mode brings new possibilities for customer demos and tests and cloud-based projects.

The new I/O subsystem’s modular architecture allows us to quickly build new functionality, validating new board models, streaming protocols and usage scenarios requested by our customers.
