Blocks make manipulations (like move, skip, assign, delete etc) with logically connected events in a rundown easier.
The blocks can be copied from one rundown to another, which works great for recurring events at the start and the end of a newscast. They also make the rundown easier to read, reducing the chance of newseditor errors.
